Annoying Aunty is back! This old recurring character made a surprise return to this week's comic and hasn't changed one bit, it would seem.
And it brings up so many questions:
Why does Aunty assume Mrs. Ninja is shopping for her husband?
What's with her thinking the 'black scary shirt' is more suited for a guy?
And most importantly...
Why is Mrs. Ninja shopping with Annoying Aunty? XD
No, I'm not talking about the kind where one drops food and convinces themselves that bacteria spare a few seconds before hopping onto the spillage - a belief that's probably been set in place in order to avoid having to discard or 'waste' something that one could otherwise enjoy.
In this case, the 3 second rule is a not-as-exaggerated-as-you-think minimum timeline for Mr. Ninja to be able to enjoy a food item.
What's most important is that no one should judge how someone enjoys their food... although Mrs. Ninja gets quite irked if Mr. Ninja doesn't eat his veggies with meat.
It really is strange that something as simple as walking out on the street and bumping into or striking conversations with people that you don't know or may never meet again has become something worthy of calling a throwback.
Not to mention the kicks out of eavesdropping on conversations and jumping to conclusions. Guilty? Heh.
As was the common theme for 2020, this year seems to be one filled with a lot of trouble all around. It's during times like these that one must not underestimate the importance of spreading love and happiness where they can. You never know who might need it.

It feels like I started the new season this year a little later than usual. Well, there is a lot of crazy stuff happening out in the world that was occupying my mind; figured I might as well send out a few smiles during this grim time, if that helps anyone.
There definitely is so much going on right now that I want to use my comics to talk about; however the bulk of this season's stories are pre-Covid19. Don't be surprised if you see a lot of throwbacks; I might even bring in my Mini-series 'Lockdown Love' every once in a while if I feel the need to do so.
This week's comic focuses on that twilight moment between when the Lockdown first began and we had all gotten so used to being on our phones and not really communicating... and the time when we actually realized we need to take the effort and reach out to talk to other people.
